Fall into Fundraising Seminar Ideas Part III
Thank you to the attendees of the Fall into Fundraising Seminar! They each shared some great fundraising ideas with us, and I have attempted to encapsulate them here for you!
Wine Pull: Create a wine pull at the auction. Have members of the organization each donate a bottle of their favorite wine valued at least $25. Sell a pull for $25 and each person is guaranteed to get a bottle valued at least what they paid. If you include some $40 and $100 bottles, people have a chance to win more than what they paid as well, which increases sales.
A new take on the standard wine pull: Get 100 donated bottles of wine that you sell a pull for $50 each. Each bottle has a number attached and a drawing occurs during the night and the winning number gets a donated trip to Napa. They get their bottle of wine and a chance to win a wine trip too!
Tip: Central Market holds a big sale the first part of November when all of their wine is 25% off. If you have some people give you a cash donation for their wine, buy during a sale to make the most of your money!
