Fall into Fundraising Seminar Ideas Part IV

Thank you to the attendees of the Fall into Fundraising Seminar!  They each shared some great fundraising ideas with us, and I have attempted to encapsulate them here for you!

Partnering Opportunities: Partner with a well known Theater Company to donate a percentage of proceeds from each show to your organization for the entire year.  This gives the nonprofit the opportunity to promote the shows to their donor base and the theater gets more people coming and supporting their shows.
Retail Stores:  Ask a retailer to make a donation to your event to gain exposure for their business.  A jewelry store donates jewelry for the live auction and in turn you offer a cool class as a sign up party for dads and sons to learn about gemology and rocks at the store in February or May right before Valentine’s Day or Mothers’ Day.
A local bakery donates cakes for the dessert at your auction.  They get to place one cake as the centerpiece of each dinner table, which saves you the cost of flowers and it looks fabulous!  The bakery has just showcased their works of art to over 300 people!  They can give each person a discount coupon in the goody bag or offer a cake decorating sign up party in the silent auction.
Do the same thing with a local wine store and host a wine tasting party or a discount shopping day each month where the parents get a discount to shop for wine.
Tix 4 a Cause: A service to connect ticket holders and nonprofits:   Sign up is FREE for nonprofits and businesses.  Through this service, ticket holders donate unused sporting, entertainment, dining tickets and certificates.    Businesses sign up for marketing exposure.  Sign up as a charity to receive funds.  It is a win/win for everyone.  Check it out at www.Tix4cause.com.
