Travel Board
Many of you may have heard of a Big Board which is an area of the silent auction that showcases the most exclusive or most expensive items in your silent auction. Special signage is created for this area and it is placed in a prominent part of the venue where all your guests can easily see it and be enticed to place a bid!
We have a new idea for you! It is based on the idea of a Big Board, and we call it a Travel Board!
A travel board is a special area of your silent auction dedicated to trips and travel destinations. You can create an attractive display of old suitcases with display boards for each of the trips you are offering.
Make sure the display boards include pictures of the destination as well as a brief description, and the package number to make it easy for your guests to bid on the trips!
If you have the money to purchase or rent these light up display blocks or walls, they are a great way to display your trips!
Get as many trips donated for your event as possible. Include a variety of destinations, including family trips to the beach and Disney. Also include trips to New York City, Napa Valley, Las Vegas, and European destinations like Croatia, Tuscany, Paris or Portugal! Experience trips are wonderful too, like a Ladies Antiquing Trip, Golf Outing or a Fishing Trip, a Photo Safari or how about a trip to New York Fashion Week or a Nascar Racing Experience or a trip to Chicago to the American Doll store? Sporting events and concerts also sell well at fundraising events! See if you have a connection at your local stadium or music theater to get tickets!
Ask your board or committee members what time shares they have, or if they own a vacation home, they are willing to donate for a week. Ask your donors where they want to go on vacation this year, and get a trip donated to that destination! Ask your solicitation committee to reach out to the places they have traveled to in the past and ask for a donation.

Our trip and experience packages are no risk, which means you can download the display sheets and include them in your auction, and you only pay for those which sell in your auction. You can create a beautiful display of fabulous trips with no risk on your part!
If you have something special that you are looking for that is not listed, please let me know and we can create a custom package for you.
If a trip on our site has airfare and you want to take it off, you can deduct $800 from cost for domestic flights.
All our trips can be sold more than once! You can sell them to the first and second highest bidder in the trip board auction, or you can use them for your live auction and sell them multiple times! Please let your auctioneer know the details, cost and that packages can be sold multiple times.
